AFTER A RESEARCH MADE BY
Comrade Olamilekan , WE HAVE SUMARISED ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE MODALITIES FOR 2016 /17 ADMISSION PROCESSES INTO
HIGHER INSTITUTIONS RELEASED BY Jamb BELOW :

Now, the meeting that led to this MODALITIES
of a thing was held in Abuja from June 18 th -June 30th . At the meeting , the following were agreed upon that:
1. ) Universities and colleges of Education
should Admit 60% of Science students and 40% Arts
2. ) Universities of technology, Agriculture etc should admit 100% sciences ( but 80%
sciences and 20% others . . . . . For state varsity and colleges of Education )
3. ) Polytechnic and colleges of Technology should admit 70% Sciences and 30% Arts
4. ) That Institutions should admit a total 90 % ratio of JAMBITES & 10% ratio of DE
candidates. And if after everything, any
institution doesn 't admit up to that 10% of De people, that the space/chance ( remaining % of DE) should be used to admit those who sat for
JAMB.
5. ) That for an instance , if u apply for law in UNN & don' t get admitted at last , ( because u didn' t reach law cut off mark ) , that UNN should send your Details back to them ( JAMB) .
That they , ( JAMB) will give your details to your 2nd or 3rd choice institutions , for admission consideration , provided u reached JAMB 2016
general cut off mark which is 180 .
Also during the said meeting , JAMB said that she doesn' t like the previous years admission processes of some universities like ABUBAKAR TAFEWA BALEWA UNI & IBRAHIM BADAMASI
BABANGIDA UNI . JAMB said that these 2
institutions in particular don 't use to conduct PUTME ( only uses screening methods) . JAMB
blamed that of Abubarkar Tafewa in particular because of the high amount she collects from her aspirants . In this school , if your O -LEVEL
CERT isn ' t up to 5years old, they won ' t admit u, so JAMB said she doesn' t like that method .
On the other hand , JAMB blamed Babangida
Uni for some abnormal admission processes .
In the meeting , JAMB made some sampled
printouts of some Fed unis like Futo , unilorin ,
uniabuja, etc that have formed the habit of
admitting people in previous years using the
wrong or improper admission method, &
blamed them for that . JAMB also blamed some
state institutions like Imsu , Lautech , Kasu and
2 others like that for the wrong admission
processes in their schools .
AFTER THE WHOLE THING . , JAMB came up
with these As the MODALITIES TO BE TAKEN
THIS YEAR By All institutions :

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Geoffrey Onyeama, says plans have been concluded to sign visa-free pacts with a bloc of eight African countries to promote economic partnership on the continent.

Onyeama announced this in Abuja on Tuesday at a news confernce to mark one year of President Mohammadu Buhari’s Administration.

The minister, who did not disclose the names of the countries making up the bloc, noted with concern that trading among African countries had been very low.

He, however, said that with the new idea by the President Mohammadu Buhari led administration, “it is expected that there will be upsurge in economic activities.

“ Africa is the centrepiece of our foreign policy but it is a paradox that as a Nigerian, you cannot go to an African country without a visa unlike what is obtainable in Western Europe.

“To address this as a leader in the continent, the country is at a point of introducing an initiative to promote African trade as part of the country’s foreign policy of Africa as the centrepiece”, he said.

Onyeama said Nigeria was trying to come up with an initiative, like the one in Western Europe where one could enter any sister country without a visa.

According to him, what we are trying to do at the ministry is to promote visa-free, free movement of business people.

“We want to start with about eight countries or see if they come up as a group of eight countries. At the presidential level, they agreed to that, and signed up to free movement.

“If we can achieve that within a year, then other countries may want to join and we believe this is a better way to go than institutional ECOWAS etc, as countries take so long to ratify agreements.

“We believe we can just start off, eight countries and they agree among themselves, then others will come in,” he said.

Onyeama also added that it would not help if the continent continued to export just raw materials to developed nations.

He said the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment was working towards enhancing doing business with ease in Nigeria.

Onyeama said the ministry was working with the immigration to see rise in the number of visa issued to businessmen and investors

“It is one of the cardinal strategies for the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment to facilitate investors doing business in Nigeria”, he said.

Onyeama said the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment had been mandated to ensure that there was reduction in the time it took to register companies.

My bad exprience with Access bank customer service yesterday. I took a night bus from lagos to abuja when I got a message that I should proceed to kaduna for one or two reason, I have family members living in kaduna but was not having much on me to buy some gift for my brothers and inlaw, so I decided to follow the bus I took from abuja to command junction, after then a keke to kachia Road.

I got to the bank trying to get a withdrawal slip, I could not find one and i approach a lady to ask "may I know where I can find the withdrawal slip" and she said to me don't u have an ATM. She just angrily directed me to another lady, and she too asked me rudely; where is your ATM. I said I was travelling and I ran out of cash and I am in need of money but she told me i can't withdraw with the slip and I should enroll for another ATM. I told her i can't and after that I requested for a transfer form then she directed me to another lady.

The lady @ the transfer deck asked me what kind of phone I am using to which i answered Nokia 206. After some minute of filling the form, I asked her the time I will receive a notification and she said she can't say but it has been done.

MY OBSERVATIONS And REASON FOR PORTING OUT
1. They all lacked politness and courtsey
2. They don't value their customer
3. Non challant attitude
4. Poor customer experience and engagement
5. They all don't care if u stay or leave

He wakes up around 4.30am and eventually drags himself out of bed by 5am (after engaging the 5-minute snooze button six times, of course). He does this from Monday to Friday; not because he wants to but because he knows if he doesn’t he’ll risk reporting to the office after 7.30am, by which time his line supervisor would issue him a well deserved query. He does a fast clean – no literally, FAST as in Face, Armpits, Scalp and Teeth. It’s arguably ineffective but fools all his colleagues ,whom may actually be birds of the same feather. He throws on his T.M. Lewin shirt – the shirt that makes a bold statement in the business world, the shirt that is so often used to impress at that desperately awaited job interview, the shirt that shouts to the world, ‘I care about how I look and I know I look damn good. Don’t cha wish your T.M was hot like mine?’ But after all this he complements this pristine shirt badly with his overworked suit before dashing out to hustle for sardine space in an overloaded public bus.

Nasal carbon dioxide exchange is on the high especially on those rainy days where you can’t open the windows too much. The sweat is no match for his Brut antiperspirant but his T.M Lewin collar gets it, and so does the full length of his arm sleeve rubbing against the perspiring brute aka bus conductor. He gets off at the usual bus stop and walks down to his office 10 minutes away. His T.M Lewin isn’t looking as sharp as when you first put it on. The starch-effect is fast fading and as he speeds up the stairs and arrives at his desk with one more accessory than the neck tie and cuff links he left home with – sweat beads. He makes it just in time for his weekly review meeting which is no different from the Spanish inquisition.

Alas, T.M. Lewin can’t impress his boss if his sales figures can’t. In fact, it becomes a source of ridicule; how he can look so good and yet have his figures look so bad. He returns to work after the meeting…dejected and demoralized…he goes to the restroom to have a private moment to reflect. He’s arrested in his tracks as he’s greeted by Mr. T.M Lewin staring right back at him in the mirror. His momentary admiration borders on narcissism but he suddenly leaks a little smile, adjusts his lopsided necktie and tells himself, ‘One day I will rise…I will break away and do my own thing…The world hasn’t seen the best of me…I’m the man’. He rolls up his sleeves then leaves the restroom. He walks back to his table with his head held high with an air of confidence…in his sparkling white (but slightly wrinkled) custom-fitted T.M. Lewin. He looks good so he feels good. He is ready to face the day’s challenges and slave put in some overtime to get back into his master’s good book where the latter was once impressed by the T.M. Lewin look…
